Esta m\u00e1quina, sin pedales, se mov\u00eda por impulso de los pies del usuario. La draisiana se convirti\u00f3 en la base para futuras innovaciones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siglo XIX<br>Se introduce la idea de usar pedales y cadenas para impulsar la bicicleta, como en la bicicleta de Kirkpatrick Macmillan y en los veloc\u00edpedos. Los veloc\u00edpedos, con sus ruedas grandes y peque\u00f1as, eran dif\u00edciles de conducir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1868<br>Se celebra la primera carrera ciclista documentada en el parque de Saint-Cloud, Par\u00eds.<br>Evoluci\u00f3n de la bicicleta<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siglo XIX<br>Se experimentan diferentes dise\u00f1os y materiales para las bicicletas, como el uso de metal y caucho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Siglo XX<br>La bicicleta se populariza y se convierte en un medio de transporte y un deporte.
