{"id":9385,"date":"2025-02-28T22:58:17","date_gmt":"2025-02-28T22:58:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/?p=9385"},"modified":"2025-02-28T22:58:18","modified_gmt":"2025-02-28T22:58:18","slug":"atletismo-en-la-busqueda-del-mejoramiento-en-pistas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/28\/atletismo-en-la-busqueda-del-mejoramiento-en-pistas\/","title":{"rendered":"Atletismo en la b\u00fasqueda del mejoramiento en pistas"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Atleta-1-1024x768.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-9386\" srcset=\"https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Atleta-1-1024x768.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Atleta-1-300x225.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Atleta-1-768x576.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Atleta-1-1536x1152.jpeg 1536w, https:\/\/rgdeportes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/02\/Atleta-1.jpeg 1600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Durante esta semana se dio a conoce que el <strong>Instituto Costarricense del Deporte y la Recreaci\u00f3n (Icoder) y la Federaci\u00f3n Costarricense de Atletismo (Fecoa)<\/strong> unen fuerzas en la b\u00fasqueda de alternativas, con el fin de mejorar la infraestructura de las pistas de atletismo sint\u00e9ticas ya existentes en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La alianza incluye ofrecer asesor\u00eda a otras entidades deportivas interesadas en desarrollar proyectos de pistas sint\u00e9ticas en sus comunidades.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abLa Federaci\u00f3n est\u00e1 muy interesada en dotar al Icoder de toda la informaci\u00f3n necesaria para tomar las mejores decisiones con las pistas de atletismo como la del Estadio Nacional y la denominada \u00abpista azul\u00bb ubicada en el Parque Metropolitano La Sabana\u00bb indic\u00f3 Geen Clarke presidenta de la Fecoa. &nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Con el prop\u00f3sito de elaborar diagn\u00f3sticos y ofrecer alternativas para el mejoramiento de estas infraestructuras, la Fecoa contrat\u00f3 los servicios de un especialista en la construcci\u00f3n y restauraci\u00f3n de pistas sint\u00e9ticas. El Icoder, por su parte, corre con los rubros de su hospedaje y alimentaci\u00f3n en el pa\u00eds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Se trata de Geoff Daley, director y jefe del Departamento de Aseguramiento de Calidad de la empresa Beynon, una firma muy reconocida en el mundo, que cuenta en su curr\u00edculo con m\u00e1s de 300 pistas construidas y restauradas, principalmente en universidades de Estados Unidos y Am\u00e9rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beynon, adem\u00e1s, fue la empresa encargada de construir hace tres a\u00f1os la pista de atletismo de Bahamas y la del \u00faltimo Mundial de Atletismo realizado en Oreg\u00f3n, Estados Unidos, lo que convierte a Daley en una persona calificada para analizar, inspeccionar y recomendar a las instituciones deportivas del pa\u00eds y aquellas municipalidades o empresas que busquen mejorar o construir una pista sint\u00e9tica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00abAgradezco a la se\u00f1ora Gen Clarke de la Fecoa por la invitaci\u00f3n y confianza para realizar el an\u00e1lisis de las pistas.
