Este evento \u00fanico en el pa\u00eds ret\u00f3 a los ciclistas con un recorrido impresionante, que incluy\u00f3 tres etapas cronometradas en un solo d\u00eda, acumulando un total de 3.100 metros de ascenso en 100 kil\u00f3metros desde M\u00edstico, Quebrada Amarilla, hasta El Rodeo, Brasil de Mora.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>El primer lugar qued\u00f3 una vez m\u00e1s en manos de un extranjero. El colombiano Diyer Rinc\u00f3n del Viv\u00e9lo Cycling Club-Specialized realiz\u00f3 las tres etapas en 02:26:08, seguido por Carlos Herrera del Pedregal 7C Land Rover con 02:26:39, Luis L\u00f3pez del LL Sportiv Team fue tercero con un acumulado de 02:26:58, Paolo Montoya del Specialized Bikestation fue cuarto con 02:27:42 y Jexon Ledezma, tambi\u00e9n del equipo 7C quinto con 02:30:25.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u201cEs una carrera diferente, que no estamos acostumbrados a hacer, pero muy bonita e interesante. El inicio de carrera estuvo muy duro, me sacaron de punto muy temprano y me recupere muy bien entre el primero y segundo segmento. M\u00e1s adelante tuve muy buenas fuerzas y era hora de jugar bien las cartas para cerrar bien\u201d, coment\u00f3 Diyer Rinc\u00f3n, qui\u00e9n destac\u00f3 la importancia de comer y recuperarse bastante entre cada segmento.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>La open femenina, la gan\u00f3 una vez m\u00e1s Adriana Rojas del Team Shimano \u2013 Scott con un tiempo acumulado de 03:14:33, la segunda posici\u00f3n fue para Astrid Rodr\u00edguez del Ciclo V\u00edctor Vargas con 03:50:49, en la tercera posici\u00f3n culmin\u00f3 Yuliana Hern\u00e1ndez del Sapphire Kafitt Cycling Team con 03:50:57, la cuarta posici\u00f3n fue para Yendri Gonz\u00e1lez de Aethos Cycling (04:07:05) y Katherine Herrara de Kivelix, quinta, con 04:46:15.<br>El Desaf\u00edo MTB Puro Motor no solo mantuvo la expectativa de las ediciones anteriores, sino que la super\u00f3 con una participaci\u00f3n r\u00e9cord de m\u00e1s de 500 ciclistas para su tercera edici\u00f3n. Esta cifra refleja el creciente inter\u00e9s y la pasi\u00f3n por el ciclismo de monta\u00f1a en Costa Rica.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>\u00abEstamos muy contentos con la respuesta de los participantes y el \u00e9xito del Desaf\u00edo MTB Puro Motor. Cada a\u00f1o nos esforzamos por ofrecer una mejor experiencia, y este a\u00f1o no fue la excepci\u00f3n. La ruta es acomodada de tal manera que desafie a los ciclistas y llevarlos a sus l\u00edmites, tanto f\u00edsicos como mentales. Ver a tantos participantes enfrentarse a este reto es realmente inspirador y satisfactorio para todo nuestro grupo de trabajo\u201d, coment\u00f3 Marco Quesada, organizador.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Para el 2025 la organizaci\u00f3n ha anunciado un nuevo formato al que le han llamado \u00a8Ida y vuelta\u201d, es decir ser\u00e1n dos d\u00edas de competencia, el d\u00eda uno saliendo de M\u00edstico, finalizando en El Rodeo y el segundo d\u00eda ser\u00e1 desde El Rodeo hasta M\u00edstico.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Por su parte, la Serie CR MTB 2024 continua su recorrido por las provincias de Costa Rica, con su quinta jornada.
