Por recomendaci\u00f3n del Director Deportivo de Selecciones de Costa Rica, Ronald Gonz\u00e1lez, se decidi\u00f3 colocar como DT de la Sele Preol\u00edmpica, a Nicol\u00e1s Batista, con la idea de consolidar un modelo de juego unificado bajo una misma l\u00ednea estrat\u00e9gica liderada desde la Selecci\u00f3n Mayor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Batista, asumir\u00e1 la direcci\u00f3n t\u00e9cnica del equipo preol\u00edmpico, que se prepara para disputar los Juegos Centroamericanos y del Caribe, programados del 24 de julio al 8 de agosto en Santo Domingo, Rep\u00fablica Dominicana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El nuevo director t\u00e9cnico de la Sele Preol\u00edmpica cuenta con experiencia en distintos cuerpos t\u00e9cnicos. Arranc\u00f3 su carrera como entrenador en la selecci\u00f3n juvenil Sub-18 de Armenia. Luego se uni\u00f3 a clubes como: Qatar SC, San Telmo y Racing Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La decisi\u00f3n es una apuesta que es impulsada por la Direcci\u00f3n Deportiva de la FCRF, y responde a la necesidad de fortalecer la transici\u00f3n de los jugadores j\u00f3venes hacia la m\u00e1xima categor\u00eda, al promover una identidad de juego compartida. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

La idea principal por parte de la Federaci\u00f3n, es consolidar un proyecto integral del pa\u00eds, en el que exista una conexi\u00f3n permanente entre las distintas selecciones nacionales, garantizando continuidad, coherencia y una mejor proyecci\u00f3n del talento joven.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
