La edici\u00f3n 15 de la Copa Chorotega TYR 2026 se llen\u00f3 de emociones en la Piscina del Polideportivo de Nicoya desde el pasado viernes 27 y hasta el domingo 29 de marzo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

El fuerte calor del sector nicoyano no fue obst\u00e1culo para que los atletas de las categor\u00edas Infantil A (9-10 a\u00f1os), Infantil B (11-12 a\u00f1os), Juvenil A (13-14 a\u00f1os), Juvenil B (15-17 a\u00f1os) y Mayor (18 a\u00f1os y m\u00e1s) lo dieran todo en la piscina, en b\u00fasqueda de bajar los tiempos personales, de cara a algunos eventos internacionales que se aproximan en pr\u00f3ximas semanas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Como es el caso de Adri\u00e1n Vargas del Piratas, quien se prepara para estar en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana en abril, lo cual este evento funciona para agarrar ritmo de competencia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cHa sido superfuerte, hemos estado entrenando superduro, los compa\u00f1eros, todo el equipo, hemos estado apoy\u00e1ndonos y poni\u00e9ndole mucho, este es un torneo superbonito, un ambiente superlindo, y es un torneo que nos sirve mucho para agarrar ritmo de competencia para el torneo en Rep\u00fablica Dominicana, quedamos dentro de dos semanas. Entonces aqu\u00ed estamos poni\u00e9ndole poniendo mucho, para agarrar ritmo para lo que viene\u201d indic\u00f3 Vargas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Por su parte, el entrenador de la Asociaci\u00f3n de Nataci\u00f3n de Santa Ana Johan Mar\u00edn manifest\u00f3 que para este evento trabajaron con mucha intensidad y buscando las pruebas espec\u00edficas por atleta.
\u201cNosotros nos pusimos una meta, para este evento este eventualmente tener la mejor forma f\u00edsica para tener una buena presentaci\u00f3n. Estuvimos trabajando 12 semanas de alta intensidad, volumen, poniendo las pruebas m\u00e1s espec\u00edficas dentro de lo que pudiera salir la especialidad de alguno de los nadadores.\u201d concluy\u00f3 Mar\u00edn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Se cont\u00f3 con la presencia de 525 nadadores, representados en 26 asociaciones deportivas de las categor\u00edas Infantil A (9-10 a\u00f1os), Infantil B (11-12 a\u00f1os), Juvenil A (13-14 a\u00f1os), Juvenil B (15-17 a\u00f1os) y Mayor (18 a\u00f1os y m\u00e1s) que se encuentren federados en la temporada 2025-2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Este torneo fue organizado por la Federaci\u00f3n Costarricense de Deportes Acu\u00e1ticos (Fecoda), con el aval del Instituto Costarricense del Deporte y la Recreaci\u00f3n (Icoder) y el respaldo de TYR y Electrolit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pr\u00f3ximos eventos:
El mes de abril recibir\u00e1 los segundos clasificatorios de la temporada 2025-2026 de piscina larga: el 18 y 19 participar\u00e1 las categor\u00edas Infantiles A-B, mientras que del 24 al 26 el turno ser\u00e1 para los Juveniles A-B y Mayores. Ambos eventos en la Piscina Mar\u00eda del Milagro Par\u00eds en La Sabana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
